Today is the “happiest” day for me. I dressed up early morning today. I’m wearing a white shirt with black tuxedo, black trouser and a red tie. I wore my black LV shoe and run to the church with holding a paper. My friends are there already. They are shaking hand with me. Someone is calling me to get in to the church. I go to the make-up room. Look, there is a beautiful bride sitting there. She wears a less shoulder and backless wedding dress with a long tail. She also wears a long veil and a crown. She smiles at me and I smile her back. She is so beautiful with that wedding dress. A crown in her head is my present and she wears it today. She stands up and approaches me. I say “Happy Birthday” and she hugs me and says, “Joon oppa, thank you so much”. What a beautiful voice of Yoo Mi.
In the back of Yoo Mi, I see a man. He is my best friend, Ki Kwang. He approaches us and says thank you too to me. He crosses his arm on Yoo Mi’s hip. Yoo Mi looks so happy to meet him. Ki Kwang dresses so nice. He is wearing a white shirt, white trousers, white tuxedo, white tie, white cloak, and white shoe and there is a flower in his cloak’s pocket. He uses a white glove. Yoo Mi’s expression suddenly changes.
“Hey, how could you see the bride before the wedding ceremony?? You couldn’t do that, Ki Kwang”
Just hearing those words make me down. Did I mention that today is my happiest day?? Yes, I’m happy because my friend will get married today but he will marry the woman I love. Yes, Ki Kwang the best friend of mine will get married with Yoo Mi the woman I love for all this time. How pathetic I am. And of course, today is Yoo Mi’s birthday too. They picked the day so great.
“Why I couldn’t see my future wife?? I miss you so much. It’s been 2 weeks since we decided to get married and I rare to saw you after the proposal. Even you tried the wedding dress on with Joon hyung and not me the groom. I miss you. And, I want to say, Happy Birthday, Huney. You’re turning from 20 to 21 and will be a wife of me. I’m the best present, don’t I?? ”, Ki Kwang said that when Yoo Mi complained. Yoo Mi hits his chest lightly and smiles. I think I should go from here.
10.00 AM, the door of the church opens and this beautiful bride comes in. She walks down on the aisle with a happy smile while looking at Ki Kwang face and mine. She walks with her dad. I sit on the piano’s side because I have to play the Wedding March. I look at her with a happy-sad expression. I hope my tears won’t come down. Her dad gives Yoo Mi’s hand to Ki Kwang for the symbol that the family give their daughter to a good man and redeem their daughter from the family to go to the other family.
The officiant said that they are an authentically husband-wife now after they said I do each other. After wore the rings, Ki Kwang kisses Yoo Mi’s lips and that’s make me more sad. Now, it’s my time to play a song for them as my present. I play TVXQ’s song titled “One”. The audience and the guests clap their hands when I finished the song. Yoo Mi and Ki Kwang smile at me and say “Thank You”.
07.00 PM, the ceremony begins. The groom and the bride come together. They look so happy. Their faces are full of smile. What about my face??? My face looks more pathetic than this morning. I cried before come to this party. I think I have a dark circle now under my eyes. I couldn’t control my emotion. I look to the bride and groom. Now, they are cutting the cake. The guests also sing a Happy Birthday song for Yoo Mi. I think I couldn’t stay here longer so I decided to go home.
At home, I lay down in the bed and Yoo Mi’s face is always on my mind. I can’t forget her. Suddenly I fall asleep with a deep memory of her in my head.

“Joon oppa, what are you listening to?? Can I listen to it too with you??”
“Oh, Yoo Mi, of course you can. Here, come and sit here”
“Thanks, oppa”. She lied down with me on the field in our University. Yoo Mi was my junior and we met when we bumped each other in this field. After that, we became closer each day. She didn’t know that I have a feeling for her since the first sight. I wanted to speak up about my feeling on her birthday in 5 days.

I decided to make her as my girlfriend today. I would tell her how I feel this day towards her. I came to her house with a bucket of flowers and a cake. Her mom opened the door and let me in. I saw Yoo Mi already woke up and she ate her breakfast and got surprise when she saw me. She ran to her room and hide there. In 10 seconds, she opened the door and I saw that she had her hair tied to the back. She was so lovely. I spent my morning with Yoo Mi’s family in her birthday.
At the university, after the class already done, I needed to talk with her. But, what was that??? Wasn’t that Ki Kwang?? He was my junior in high school and also my best friend. What was he doing here and what the hell with he was talking with Yoo Mi?? I had a bad feeling about this situation.
“Ki Kwang?? What are you doing here??”
“Hyung!!! Nothing, I just want to visit you while I didn’t have any schedule on my campus.I was so bored at home so I came here and I found her”.
Okay, this was it. He mentioned Yoo Mi while looked at her and gave her a wink. Damn it!!! Yoo Mi seemed to agree with his behaviour. Her face was so red. Did she like him?? Oh No!!! My plans crushed!!! I knew that I couldn’t make it today so I decided to step back.
On the way home, Yoo Mi asked me about Ki Kwang. Well, I couldn’t lie to everyone so I told her that Ki Kwang was the most handsome guy in our school, he had many fans in our school, he never had a girlfriend before, he had the best rank in the entire of school and he had a best physic. I was so stupid why I couldn’t lie. It made Yoo Mi more curious about him.
“Oppa, I think I’m falling in love. This is the best present in my life. Oppa, can you help me to get closer to him?? Please???”. The words that I hated finally came up from her mouth.
“O…Ok…Okay… I will help you”. Stupid answer from the stupid person.

It was Ki Kwang birthday. Yoo Mi said that she would like to give herself as a present for Ki Kwang (to be his girlfriend). She would tell Ki Kwang that she like him. Was that my idea also when it was her birthday?? Ki Kwang just asked me and Yoo Mi to come to his house and had a dinner together. Ki Kwang and Yoo Mi already got close each other. Even both of them said to me that he likes her and she likes him. So, I could guess that Ki Kwang would accept Yoo Mi’s present with a happy face.
I was right. Yoo Mi told Ki Kwang that she loves him and Ki Kwang replied her with a smooth kiss on her lips. That’s draw the answer. Yoo Mi was so happy and me, I was so upset and my heart broken.

I finally gave up with my feeling to Yoo Mi. But I still couldn’t forget her. Like 2AM song titled “Never Let You Go, Even if I die”. Yes, I couldn’t let her go like this but what could I do. She would have an engagement party with Ki Kwang today on valentine day.
Here I was on the building where they would hold their engagement party. I could see Yoo Mi dressed in one shoulder blue gown and her hair was tied up. Ki Kwang dressed in white shirt, black trouser, black cloak and there is a flower in his cloak’s pocket. The way she looked at Ki Kwang made me sadder day by day.

I sit on the piano’s side because I have to play the Wedding March. I look at her with a happy-sad expression. I hope my tears won’t come down. Her dad gives Yoo Mi’s hand to Ki Kwang for the symbol that the family give their daughter to a good man and redeem their daughter from the family to go to the other family.
The officiant said that they are an authentically husband-wife now after they said I do each other. After wore the rings, Ki Kwang kisses Yoo Mi’s lips and that’s make me more sad. Now, it’s my time to play a song for them as my present. I play TVXQ’s song titled “One”. The audience and the guests clap their hands when I finished the song. Yoo Mi and Ki Kwang smile at me and say “Thank You”.
